Description

Homemade meatballs baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 1  Egg
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Basil
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Thyme
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 pound, 1-⅔ ounces, weight Ground Beef

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Use a plate and pour half of the breadcrumbs onto it.
4. Using a large bowl, stir together the egg, remaining breadcrumbs, garlic, cheese and all the spices.
5. Add the beef and using your hands, thoroughly mix the beef into the ingredients. You’ll need to do this for a few minutes.
6. Using your hands take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture at a time, roll the meat into balls, then roll each ball in the remaining breadcrumbs making sure they are covered well. Place onto baking sheet.
7. Bake meatballs for 25 minutes. Recipe should make 16 meatballs/
