Perfect for Spring! A light pasta that incorporates tender asparagus, hearty whole wheat pasta, and Italian seasoned chicken sausage.
Preheat oven to 450ºF, with racks in upper and lower thirds. Set a large pot of salted water to boil. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss sausage, asparagus, red onion, Italian seasoning, and oil; season with salt and pepper. Roast until tender, 25 to 30 minutes, stirring vegetables every 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook noodles until al dente. Drain pasta, and return to pot. Toss with meat mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy!
