Description

Delicious homemade spaghetti sauce made with ingredients found in most pantries! So easy, I’ve made it after getting home from work at 7pm (and that’s saying a lot!).

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef, Browned
  • 1 cup Celery, Chopped
  • 1 cup Onion, Chopped
  • 2 cans (8 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Tomato Soup
  • ¼ cups Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Barbeque Sauce
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Italian Seasoning, to taste
  • 3 teaspoons Oregano, to taste
  • Spaghetti Noodles

Preparation

Note: You can leave some of the ingredients out of this recipe. For example, I don’t always have tomato soup on hand. I just leave it out and it’s still great sauce. I don’t always have time (or I’m too lazy) to chop up celery and onion, so I often leave those out, too.

Instructions:
Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Add all other ingredients (except noodles) and stir. Simmer for at least 15 minutes.

Prepare noodles according to package. Pour sauce over noodles and you have a GREAT spaghetti dinner!
