Description

Chicken and macaroni covered in a creamy Velveeta sauce.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Shell Macaroni
  • 1 can (10 1/2 Oz. Size) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 can (10 1/2 Oz. Size) Chicken Broth
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 6 ounces, weight Velveeta Cheese
  • 6 ounces, weight Chicken, Cooked And Diced

Preparation

Start by boiling water in a large pot for the macaroni. Once boiling, add macaroni and cook until al dente, about 9-11 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain macaroni and set aside.

Pour the cream of chicken, chicken broth, flour, and salt and pepper into a large sauce pan over medium heat and bring to a boil.

Slice Velveeta cheese into 12 pieces. Once the sauce has started to boil, add in Velveeta pieces and continue to boil until the cheese is completely melted. Stir occasionally so the cheese doesn’t burn on the bottom of the pan.

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Once the cheese is completely melted, add in the cooked and diced chicken. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the chicken sauce mixture into the macaroni and mix well. Place the combined mixture into a greased casserole dish and bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
