Description

Slightly sweet and spicy wings. Not too much heat for the palate, but so much flavor! This recipe will leave your kitchen smelling divine!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Mango Relish
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Red Hot Sauce (Frank's Brand Works Well!)
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Salt, Divided
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Ground Black Pepper, Divided Use
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Turmeric
  • 40 pieces Chicken Wings, Rinsed Well And Patted Dry
  • 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Oregano

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Stir together the mango relish, honey, hot sauce, and a sprinkle (1/2 tablespoon) each of salt and pepper in a bowl, then set aside. This will be your basting sauce.
3. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, one tablespoon each of salt and pepper into a small bowl. Mix this with wings and oil in a bowl. (One large package of frozen or fresh wings is what I use–and feel free to use whole or split wings.)
4. Spread wings onto a large jelly roll pan and bake for 20 minutes.
5. Flip wings, bake another 20 minutes.
6. Brush wings with mango/honey/hot sauce mixture and bake another 10 minutes.
7. Transfer wings to favorite serving dish and sprinkle on the oregano. Enjoy!
