An easy one-pot dish that delivers a restaurant quality meal.
Preheat the oven to 375 F.
Place the chicken into a baking dish in a single layer. Cover each chicken breast with the Dijon mustard (either squirt the mustard from the bottle or spoon it out from jar—but if you do this do not put the spoon on the chicken and then back into the jar, for food safety reasons) and sprinkle evenly with salt, pepper and thyme. Place the cheese over the seasonings and then place the ham on top of the cheese. Pour the wine into the dish around the chicken.
Bake for 25 minutes (or up to 30 minutes if breasts are really thick).
