Description

Why not enjoy this creamy stroganoff tonight for dinner?

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 pound Stew Meat, Cut Into Cubes
  • 1 whole Onion, Small, Diced
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic, Minced
  • ¼ cups Chopped Parsley
  • 3 cups Cut Mushrooms
  • 1-½ cup Water
  • 1 cube Beef Bouillon
  • ½ cups White Wine Such As Chardonnay
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 3 cups Cooked Egg Noodles

Preparation

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meat and cook until it is well browned 5-10 minutes, stirring a few times so all sides get browned. Add the onions, garlic, parsley and mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.

Stir the bouillon cube, water and wine into the skillet. Heat to boil. Reduce the heat to medium.

Combine the sour cream and flour in a small bowl. Add the flour mixture to the skillet. Cook and stir until the mixture boils and thickens about 5 minutes.

Serve over noodles.

I made this for my family the other night, we LOVE beef stroganoff!! When I saw this receipe I was excited. Overall it was ok, I definitly would have maybe tried a different cut of meat or made it in the crock pot, meat was a little tough. The only other thing I changed about the receipe was that I added more mushrooms.
