My husband and son went 25 miles out into the Atlantic Ocean yesterday morning. My 12-year-old son caught a shark. He was so excited! He loves being the “hunter/gatherer” of the family. Here is what I did with his shark—it turned out absolutely wonderful!
Heat butter and oil together until butter is melted. Salt and pepper shark steaks, then saute until 2/3 cooked. Mix tomato sauce with the wine and the herbs. Pour mixture over shark steaks. Cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
Serve with your favorite pasta or a wild rice medley and a big salad.
