A healthy, fast version to cooking chicken!
Using a 4-quart crock pot, I placed the fryer in the crock pot, pouring the lemon juice over it. If when cooking it appears to need more liquid, add another 1/2 cup lemon juice.
I added the lemon pepper to each side of the fryer. I followed this by adding the garlic powder and onion powder to each side of the fryer as well. I made sure that the fryer was covered with the seasoning. If you have a larger fryer you may need to adjust the seasoning amounts.
This will cook on low for 4-5 hours. Serving this with steamed veggies made for the perfect dinner!
