Description

Shrimp and mushroom linguini with a garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Linguini
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 2 cups Mushrooms, Cleaned And Sliced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, Cleaned And Chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Minced Garlic In Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 12 ounces, weight Shrimp, Cleaned, Rinsed And Thawed
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Cook the linguini according to the directions on the box, drain and set aside.

Add butter and both chopped and sliced mushrooms to a large skillet. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, parsley and shrimp. Stir occasionally and cook for another 5 minutes. If you are using fresh shrimp, make sure it is all fully cooked.

Add the pasta and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Toss everything together and serve hot.

Simple but delicious! This gets great flavor from just a few ingredients, and it’s an easy weeknight meal because it goes together so quickly. I’ve made it twice in the last two weeks because my daughter and I loved it so much.
