Juicy chicken breasts with a crunchy topping, drizzled with delicious cheese sauce. Easy with very few ingredients but so delicious!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Sprinkle each side of chicken lightly with salt and pepper and cook in the oven for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix cream of mushroom soup, cheese, and milk together.
Remove chicken from the oven and drain any water from bottom of pan. Add half of the soup mixture to bottom of pan, place chicken on top, and top with remaining soup mixture. Cook, covered, for about 25 minutes.
Remove cover and top chicken with a little additional cheese (optional) and then top with French fried onions. Cook for additional 5–10 minutes or until top is golden brown. You will love it!
