This can be made for breakfast, but we like it for supper as well. Easy to make comfort food!
Crumble sausage into a large saucepan; cook over medium-low heat until it starts to brown. Add onion; cook and stir until tender. Drain, discarding all but 2 Tablespoons of drippings and put the sausage mixture back into your saucepan.
Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat about 4 – 6 minutes, or until mixture bubbles and turns golden. Stir in milk.
Add seasonings; cook, stirring, until thickened.
To serve, slice biscuits and spoon gravy over halves.

Hubby and kids have been begging for me to make these. I never liked them much, so never looked around for a recipe, then Lo! here it is when I open your recipe box! It’s a sign! PRINTED! and in my recipe box now too!

fabulous recipe – and very easy! The flavors are great – the hot sauce does add kick, which I love, but my 2 children don’t. Next time I make this, I’ll leave out the hot sauce and add some fresh ground pepper.
