The combination sounds rare but it works surprisingly well!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cut sausage into bite size or serving size pieces. Using cocktail sausages works also. Place sausage in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish or 9×13 pan. Stir together the sugar and cornstarch. Stir in the peach juice and all the remaining ingredients. Place the peaches among the sausage, and pour the sauce over all. Cover and bake 50 minutes. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer until sausages are well done.
This is good served over hot cooked rice.
