Description

A burger for those who either don’t eat or don’t want beef.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Canned Salmon, Drained And Flaked
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ¼ cups Chopped Parsley
  • 2 pinches Onion Powder
  • ¼ cups Dry Breadcrumbs
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Basil
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes

Preparation

1. In a medium bowl, mix together the salmon, eggs, parsley, onion, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, basil, and red pepper flakes.
2. Crumble salmon over the mixture and get all up in there to start combining.
3. Form into 6-8 firmly packed patties (depending on the size you want them) and press your thumb in the center so they don’t “puff” when they’re cooking.
4. Put patties on a grill over a low flame. I grilled mine in a grilling cage until they were completely cooked and had a yellowish color.
5. Serve on a hamburger bun or eat by itself!
