Description

Who knew you could bread chicken with Ritz crackers and a bunch of other goodness?

Ingredients

  • FOR CHICKEN:
  • 20 Or So Ritz Crackers
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Or Plain Yogurt
  • _____
  • FOR GRAVY
  • 1 can Canned Milk
  • 1 can Cream Of Chicken Soup

Preparation

Crush crackers to make coarse crumbs.

Mix crumbs with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Pour mixture into a zip lock baggie or shallow dish.

Dip chicken into sour cream (or yogurt) and then in crumb mixture to coat chicken. Place chicken in baking pan.

Bake at 425 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until chicken is crisp and golden brown.

Mix soup and milk. Heat through and pour over chicken.
(This is really good without the cream of chicken/milk gravy over it also. We’ve eaten it plain many times as well!)

My grandfather used to make a similar recipe and sold it in his grocery store’s deli, so I made this tonight using your recipe’s spices, the Parmesan cheese and with sour cream and it was wonderful. I skipped the gravy and the recipe was still delicious!
