Lightly toasted on top, yet sweet and chewy on the inside, this casserole is a standard on a holiday table or buffet. Some mistake it for a dessert similar to bread pudding. Easy to make, easy to serve.
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Grease a 9×13 pan.
3. Cube the bread slices. Use about an average-sized loaf (amount is flexible).
4. Cream the butter, sugar and eggs until light.
5. Stir in bread and pineapple.
6. Pour into greased 9×13 pan.
7. Bake for 60 minutes. (Cover with foil about halfway through baking.) The casserole should be set up in the middle like a cake, but not over-done.
This is especially delicious with a Christmas or Easter ham.

This sounds very good. I have had pineapple casserole before and loved it.
