Description

A change from the usual fried chicken!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Buttermilk Biscuit Mix (such As Bisquick)
  • ⅓ cups Finely Chopped Pecans
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Poultry Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Sage (I Am Not A Big Fan Of Sage So I Only Use 1/4 Tsp.)
  • 2-½ pounds Fryer Chicken, Cut Up, Or Use 4 To 6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • ½ cups Evaporated Milk
  • ⅓ cups Butter Or Margarine, Melted

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F.

In a shallow dish, combine biscuit mix, pecans and seasonings; mix well.

Dip chicken pieces in evaporated milk; coat generously with pecan mixture.

Place chicken in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Drizzle butter over chicken.

Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour, or until chicken is done.
