Description

We are trying to do more fish around here. This recipe is AMAZING! I am not sure it’s very “healthy” anymore once you add all this butter and cheese to the fish, but it tastes INCREDIBLE! Not fishy at all, you just taste what becomes a rich white sauce.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¼ cups Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise Or Miracle Whip
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ¼ teaspoons Basil
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoons Onion Salt
  • 2 pounds Tilapia

Preparation

Mix ingredients (except fish) together; set aside.

Grease pan and evenly space the fish. Broil on the top rack for 2-3 minutes. Flip, repeat, and broil 2-3 minutes. Remove from the oven.

Spread the top side of fish with the butter mixture. Broil 2 more minutes or until golden brown. Serve fish with pan drippings on top of the fish, with Uncle Ben’s Wild Rice and steamed broccoli.

Similar to other recipes for Parmesan Tilapia. I tried this one the other night and it was a hit. The parmesan got crunchy and delicious. It was all I could do to prevent my family from licking the pan. Delicious! I will make this again exactly as is.

Delicious! The only thing I would do different is salt and pepper the fish before broiling.

This was amazing! So simple to make and tastes sooo good. When I set it on the table, my 5-year-old thought we were having pizza because the topping melts to look just like that. This will be our go-to fish recipe now.

THIS WAS DELISH. I loved the crunch of the panko and the flavor from the mayo mixture. Will definitely make this again.

This was so good and easy to make. We were not even finished with the meal and my family was requesting it again soon.
