Description

This is a quick and easy chicken recipe that has a nice rich flavor. Braising the chicken keeps it oh so moist.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 4  Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 quart Chicken Broth, More Or Less
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Heat oil in a heavy pan over medium high heat. Mix together the paprika, onion powder and garlic powder. Rub the clean, dry chicken with salt, pepper and the paprika mixture.

Add the chicken into the pan and brown it for about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Add the broth into the pan. Only use enough broth to come up half-way on the sides of the chicken without covering it. You can always add more if needed. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove the chicken to a plate and cover with tin foil to keep warm. Add the Worcestershire sauce to the pan and reduce the liquid until slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add salt and pepper to the sauce if needed. Plate your chicken, drizzle on the pan sauce and serve.

This was fantastic! My kids gobbled it down and my husband loved it too. Just the right amount of spice. Add a little sour cream to the sauce and it would be really decadent. I should have made more so I could have leftovers.
