Description

The flavors in this sandwich are delicious! It is one of the most requested meals in my house. It’s so quick and easy that I’m happy to oblige!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • 1 block Cream Cheese (8 Ounce Block)
  • 1 jar Basil Pesto Sauce, 8 Ounce Jar
  • 1 pound Thinly Sliced Salami
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 3 whole Tomatoes Thinly Sliced
  • ½ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Basil
  • 1 Tablespoon Oregano

Preparation

Slice French bread in half lengthwise. Spread each half with cream cheese. Add pesto sauce on top of the cream cheese. Layer salami over the pesto. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Add tomatoes and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle basil and oregano over all. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.

With an ingredient list like this how can you go wrong! This would be a great sandwich for those game days in front of the big screen.

Thank you so much for this recipe! I think you had me at the cream cheese and pesto part, smothered upon a loaf of crusty bread, and baked and cheesy and bubbly and… YUM! So easy to put together. This will be made often!

Made this today. Added lettuce and the tomato to hubby’s after heating because he hates hot tomatoes. Hubby would prefer it with either butter or mayo instead of the cream cheese. I’m writitng the review though and I thought it was delicious!
