Ingredients

  • FOR THE DOUGH:
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour, Plus More For The Work Surface
  • ½ cups Lukewarm Water
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Active Yeast
  • ½ Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ Tablespoons Butter At Room Temperature, Plus More To Grease The Pan
  • Salt To Taste
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • ½ ounces, weight Shredded Mozzarella
  • ¼ ounces, weight Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Basil, To Taste
  • Oregano, to taste
  • Olive Oil, To Taste

Preparation

In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and dry active yeast, then add the olive oil, butter, salt and lukewarm water. Using a wooden spoon, work the mixture together until all is combined. Knead the dough for 5 minutes. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let the dough rest for 1 hour.

After resting, preheat oven to 390ºF for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, grease a baking pan (8″ x 13″) with butter. Spread the dough over it. Then pour in the tomato sauce and sprinkle on the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Then top with basil, oregano and olive oil.
