Description

These chicken thighs are glazed in a honey Sriracha sauce and then baked to perfection in a hot oven. This recipe can be on the table in under an hour, making it the perfect weeknight meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Thighs, 2 Pounds Is About 6 Thighs (trimmed Of Fat)
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1-½ teaspoon Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Fish Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sriracha (more Or Less Based On Spice Preference)
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 5 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, Grated
  • ¼ teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Cilantro, Chopped, For Garnish

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 425 F and line a large cast iron skillet (or oven-safe 8×8-inch dish) with foil. Place your chicken thighs into the prepared skillet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, fish sauce, Sriracha, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and crushed red pepper until thoroughly combined and smooth. Pour the sauce over the chicken, coating it generously.

Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly brown on top. If the chicken is browning too much, you may cover the skillet/baking dish with a sheet of foil. Remove from heat and let it stand for 5 minutes, then garnish with cilantro and serve immediately! Enjoy!

I used slightly less than the amount called for regarding Sriracha, and this came out perfect. Thanks!

Loved this recipe. It was in the oven in 5 minutes. We served ours with stirfried veggies and some rice. I can also see this working as a marinade and then grilling them on a bbq!

Delicious! Easy to make! Reminded me of General Tso’s a bit…which was great! And definitely not too spicy. Thank you!

Very nice, but cutting back on the sriracha to 1 tsp was still plenty hot for me; chef beware!
