Description

Grilled halibut tacos with a light sour cream spread.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole (Each Piece Roughly 3-4 Ounces) Fresh Halibut Fillets
  • ¼ teaspoons Each: Paprika, Parsley, Salt, Pepper
  • 1 whole Lemon
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Thyme
  • 8 whole Large Flour Tortillas
  • 1 whole Diced Roma Tomato
  • 1 bag 5 Ounce Bag, Shredded (iceberg) Lettuce
  • 1 whole Peeled, Pitted And Sliced Avocado (optional)

Preparation

Grease a grill or griddle pan with canola oil then heat to medium high.

Place halibut fillets on a plate and add salt, pepper, paprika and parsley on both sides. Cook them on the grill or griddle pan for 7 minutes on each side. Remove from grill and squeeze lemon juice over the top of the cooked halibut and set aside.

In a small bowl add sour cream and thyme and mix together.

Heat flour tortillas until soft and warmed (either on a grill/griddle pan or frying pan over low heat).

Cut halibut fillets into large chunks (be careful because they can be flaky). Place warmed tortilla on the work surface and spread sour cream and thyme mixture across the tortilla. Add cooked halibut, tomatoes, lettuce (and avocado slices, if desired).
