Juicy, full-flavored burgers and a creamy bleu cheese dressing. Try it as a dip for buffalo wings or drizzled over your favorite salad, too!
First, prepare the dressing. In a blender or food processor, combine the bleu cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, heavy cream, wine, salt, and pepper (to taste). Process until smooth. Transfer to a pint jar with a lid; refrigerate. It will thicken as it chills.
In a large bowl, lightly toss together the ground chuck, green onions, garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties. Pan fry or grill to desired doneness.
Meanwhile, butter the buns and toast them on a griddle until golden. Serve burgers topped with creamy bleu cheese dressing. Garnish with additional bleu cheese, if desired.
