Description

This may be the easiest slow cooker recipe we have ever made. I popped it in the slow cooker before bed and it was ready to shred when I woke up!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Sirloin Tip Roast
  • 2 whole Onions, Quartered
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • ½ cups Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Rosemary
  • 2 whole Bay Leaves
  • FOR ASSEMBLING THE SANDWICH:
  • Hoagie Or Sub Rolls, Toasted
  • Sauteed Bell Peppers
  • Sauteed Onions
  • Sliced Cheese

Preparation

Place roast in slow cooker. Combine the quartered onons, minced garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, rosemary and bay leaves. Pour over roast. Cook on low for 8 – 10 hours.

Remove roast and shred. Reserve au jus. Serve on toasted hoagies with sauteed peppers, onions, your choice of cheese and reserved au jus for dipping!

Hi AB, the only thing I had to delete from your recipe was the garlic (I am allergic to it), can I tell you that it fed a group of 10 no problem with no leftovers…Have a huge family and friends in and out almost non stop, nothing goes to waste. I love my slow cooker(s) and can not live without them! Great Job…CLW
