Description

Crispy and golden chicken without splashing oil all over my stove? Game on!

Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Chicken Legs Or Thighs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 envelope Dry Ranch Dressing Mix,1.5 Oz Package
  • ¼ cups Butter
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons BBQ Dry Rub Seasoning Mix, Store Bought
  • 1 Tablespoon Seasoned Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Poultry Seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 F.

Pat chicken dry, and place in a large bowl. Combine milk and ranch dressing mix in a small bowl then pour it over the chicken. Soak chicken in the ranch dressing mixture for at least 10 minutes.

When oven comes to temperature, place butter in a 9×13 baking dish and place it in the oven to melt.

In large bowl, combine flour and all of the spices.

Remove chicken from milk, allowing it to drip off slightly and place into flour mixture, in batches preferably. Coat the chicken thoroughly, then remove it from the flour mixture shaking off any excess.

Place into the pan with the melted butter and repeat with the rest of the chicken. Place dish in the oven. Cook until juices run clear, flipping chicken halfway through. For average size chicken legs, this will take about 40 minutes.
