Description

I live 15 minutes from the beach. I love seafood and this is the best way I’ve ever found to eat scallops.

If you have an aversion to that nasty little thing called “Fat”… avoid this recipe at all costs. If you’re more into the pleasure of a good “guilt” free feast, you’re in for a treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Scallops
  • ½ cups Butter
  • 1 cup Cracker Crumbs
  • ½ cups Soft Bread Crumbs
  • ⅔ cups Cream
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Melt butter, add crumbs.

Put half of crumbs in greased casserole. Cover with scallops; add half cream; season with salt and pepper. Repeat with rest of crumbs, pour on rest of cream.

Bake until brown at 350 for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Don’t tell the fat police that I gave you this recipe. They just might find just cause to send me to work in the prison kitchen.

This was super-good! Next time I make it, I’ll probably use less butter, because I can feel my arteries hardening while eating this! And maybe some garlic. But this is a really comforting, creamy dish, great for a cold snowy day like today!
