Description

The ultimate comfort food. Rich, thick, and creamy. This is not health food, people…unless you count MENTAL health.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • ½ sticks Butter
  • 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch Garlic Salt, Or To Taste
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper, Or To Taste
  • 1 whole Sleeve Of Butter Crackers (like Ritz)

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Boil chicken breasts until cooked through.

3. Meanwhile, melt butter. Pour melted butter into bottom of a square baking dish, making sure it covers the entire surface and sides.

4. Cut boiled chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks.

5. In a separate bowl, combine chicken, soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, and spices, mixing well.

6. Spread mixture into baking dish on top of melted butter.

7. Use a meat tenderizer or other heavy object to crush the sleeve of crackers into small pieces and sprinkle the crushed crackers evenly over the mixture in the baking dish.

8. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.

I made this last night and it was great. Everyone loved it and there was only enough left over for me to take to work for lunch.

Very good. I was skeptical at first but you’re right comfort food to the max! Even the leftovers were good. Out of the 5 family members that ate it all but one gave it a thumbs up. Will definitely make again and that one thumbs down will just have to deal. :)
