Pork chops, sweet Bavarian sauerkraut and apples. Sweet and sour so easy to make.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat with the olive oil. Season chops with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Brown on all sides until well browned and the juices run clear; remove from skillet.
Into the same skillet add butter and brown sugar until melted and combined. Then add onion and cook until soft. Add the apples, sauerkraut, and chops. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 20 minutes.

baddabina….Dont Drain or rinse the Kraut it will become to dry.
Twinks….it is so yummy! It has caraway seeds in it. I always seem to find it near the cans of baked beans in the supermarket. It’s great with Keilbasa also.

I’ve never seen Bavarian Sauerkraut. How is it different from regular sauerkraut?

Do you drain/rinse the sauerkraut?
