Description

Get ready for the sauciest mac & cheese ever that takes delicious to a new level with Frank’s Buffalo Hot Sauce and ranch seasoning!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Macaroni Noodles
  • ¼ cups Butter, Unsalted
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 4 teaspoons Ranch Seasoning
  • ¼ cups Flour
  • 4 cups Milk Or Cream (or A Mixture)
  • 4 cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • ⅔ cups Buffalo Sauce

Preparation

Cook noodles according to package directions and set aside.

Begin to melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, being careful not to let it burn. When butter is melted, add salt, garlic powder, ranch seasoning, and flour. Whisk well until it begins to form a paste.

Once butter and flour are mixed and begin to form a paste, slowly add the milk or cream. Stir constantly, and let sauce thicken for at least 5 minutes. Don’t skip this step!

Once roux has cooked for at least 5 minutes and is gently boiling/bubbling, turn heat off. Add shredded cheddar and hot sauce. Stir well, and let remaining heat in the pan melt the cheese. This will take a few minutes—be patient!

Once cheese is completely melted into the sauce, pour sauce into the pot with the noodles. Stir well. Top with fresh chives for garnish if you’d like. Serve and enjoy!
