Ease the pain of summer tomato abundance with this burger!
Combine the first four ingredients (tomato mixture ingredients) in a medium sized bowl then place bowl in the refrigerator to keep cold.
Preheat a skillet over medium high heat. Preheat your oven to broil.
Mix together the ground turkey, onion, poultry seasoning, and pepper in a large bowl. Then gently form into four patties. Make an indentation in the middle of each, pushing your thumb almost all the way through the patty. This will prevent the dreaded burger bulge. Ste patties on a plate. Season both sides of each patty with the sea salt.
Add the olive oil to the pan, turn to coat the bottom of the pan then place the patties inside. Cook for about 5 minutes for each side, or until the patties are cooked through.
Meanwhile, open up the buns, put them on a baking tray and put it under your preheated broiler for 2-5 minutes, depending on your toasty preference.
Place the cooked burgers on a rimmed cookie sheet, add your cheese to the top of each then place pan under the broiler for a minute to melt the cheese.
Place the burgers on their buns and top with the tomato mixture. Serve extra of the tomato mixture on the side. Enjoy!
