We grew up on this recipe and it is now one of my family’s favorites! We have tried other meatloaf recipes that call for bread crumbs or bread and it just isn’t the same. I think the oatmeal makes the difference!
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Gather and mix all ingredients well. Form into a loaf and place in a baking dish and bake for 1 1/2 hours. (Optional: I like to top my loaf with a ketchup and brown sugar mixture about 15 minutes before cook time is up. I just eyeball it, about 2 tablespoons each of brown sugar and ketchup. Spoon over the top and sides of the loaf and then put back in the oven until the cook time is done.)
You can use all beef too, but the ground pork really adds flavor and moisture.

fyi the cook time is around 1 1/2 hours depends on how your oven cooks….not sure why it posted 1 hour in the cook time section.
