This Asian-inspired burger has it all when it comes to flavour: sweet, spicy, and salty! With a garlic ginger patty, a spicy Sriracha-based slaw, and a bun smothered in creamy peanut butter, this will impress anyone with a developed and adventurous palate!
For the patties:
In a large bowl, combine ingredients with your clean, bare hands. Divide meat into equal-sized patties. Set aside.
For the slaw:
In a medium-sized bowl, toss julienne-style cucumber and carrots. Drizzle chili sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and Sriracha over the vegetables and toss to coat. Set aside.
Heat grill on medium-high heat. Place patties on grill and grill on one side for approximately 5 minutes if turkey is present, or 3 minutes if beef. Flip and continue to cook about 5 minutes if turkey, and 4 minutes if beef.
Serve on bun, topped with slaw, sliced scallions, pea shoots (optional) and dress top bun with creamy peanut butter.
