Description

This Baked Chicken Parmesan is coated with a crispy, seasoned crust and baked to perfection!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Italian Bread Crumbs
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • ½ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2  Eggs, Lightly Beaten
  • 4  Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • ¾ cups Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Lightly coat a shallow baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

Pour breadcrumbs onto a shallow baking dish or plate. Add garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.

Add beaten eggs to a medium bowl.

Take one piece of chicken and add to eggs, ensuring entire piece is coated. Then, dredge chicken in bread crumb mixture, coating all sides, and place onto prepared baking dish. Repeat with rest of chicken.

Spray a thin coating of nonstick cooking spray on each piece of chicken. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is tender. Remove from oven, spoon 3 tablespoons sauce on each piece and top with mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
