Chicken and figs in a creamy sauce. Delish.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Heat butter in pan and brown chicken for about 10 minutes. Place chicken with figs in an ovenproof dish
Top with the chopped onions. Pour in the chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with a lid or foil and bake at 350ºFF for 50 minutes. When done, remove chicken from dish and set aside.
Place juices from the chicken into a pan. Add the wine and rosemary. Boil until it has reduced to about a 1/3 of its original volume. Remove from the heat and stir in the cream. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
Serve over rice.
