Description

A flashback to our Maryland childhood, chicken drumsticks are coated with melted butter then tossed with Old Bay seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Chicken Drumsticks With Skin
  • 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter (canola Oil Or Olive Oil Will Also Work)
  • 2 Tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wash and pat dry the chicken drumsticks then lightly coat with melted butter. Add Old Bay seasoning and the drumsticks to a resealable plastic bag, shake until evenly coated. Place on a baking sheet, then into the oven for 40 – 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

This looks like just the thing for that package of drums I have in the freezer, and I love Old Bay seasoning. Will definitely try this!

Makes the perfect drumstick and couldn’t be easier. I’m making it for the second time right now. I like having these as cold drumsticks in the fridge to snack on. Thank you!

Very good. I added a little Lawry’s seasoning salt to give it a tad bit more saltiness. They turned out so juicy and golden brown, yummy. And extra points for SO EASY!

I made it with bone-in chicken breasts and thighs, and it turned out perfectly. Very easy and tasty. This went in my recipe binder!

This is super-simple to make and has a great flavor. I’m thinking next time I may add a bit of cayenne for a little more kick, but really good as-is. The recipe was a hit with my husband & all 4 kiddos, and they’re not all easy to please!
