Simple and delicious bacon jalapeno popper burger.
Mince jalapeno pepper and mix with ground beef and half of the shredded cheddar jack cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Form patties.
In a medium heated pan, add olive oil. Toast buns for 2 minutes and set aside. Pan fry patties until brown on the outside and internal temperature reaches 160ºF.
Add the rest of the shredded cheddar jack cheese on top of the patties until cheese is melted. Set aside.
Cook bacon until crisp.
To prepare the burger, spread chipotle mayonnaise on the bottom bun. Add burger patty and top with bacon.
