A basic lasagna recipe with a little kick, thanks to Lipton Onion Soup dry mix.
1. Brown meat and garlic in a skillet.
2. After the meat is browned, add garlic, soup mix, water, sauce, paste, oregano, basil, and salt.
3. Mix well and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
4. Prepare lasagna noodles as directed.
5. Layer ingredients in 9×13 baking pan in following order:
– sauce
– layer of 3 noodles
– ricotta cheese
– mozzarella cheese
– sauce
– layer of 3 noodles
– ricotta cheese
– mozzarella cheese
– sauce
– parmesan cheese
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
If refrigerated, bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
If frozen, bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
7. Let cool for approximately 15 minutes before serving.
