Description

This truly tastes out of this world. The cornmeal crust gives it a nutty flavor after baking, and it really brings out the Mexican flavors. It’s even healthy, even though it makes you think you’re cheating! Kid-approved; even my daughter asked for seconds! See my recipe box for the components for this guiltless dieter’s delight!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Prepared Cornmeal Pizza Dough (See My Recipe Box)
  • 1 cup "Refried" Beans Without The "Refry" (See My Recipe Box)
  • ½ cups (or More To Your Liking) Taco Sauce (See My Recipe Box)
  • 1 pound Prepared Taco-Flavored Ground Turkey (See My Recipe Box)
  • 1 cup Mexican Four Cheese Blend (Weight Watchers)
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 whole Medium Chopped Onion
  • 2 whole Medium Chopped Tomatoes
  • Sour Cream Or Green Yogurt, To Serve

Preparation

Preheat oven at 425ºF degrees. If needed, warm up the prepared pizza crust in the oven till hot (do not rebake!).

Just after prepping the crust, spread the “Refried” Beans. Next, layer with Taco Sauce. Spread the Taco Flavored Ground Turkey. Top turkey with cheese (extra if you like!).

Bake till cheese is melted, about 8 minutes. Take pizza out and top with cold ingredients: first layer the lettuce. then the onions, followed by the tomatoes.

Cut into slices (about 8) and give each serving a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt!
