Description

Easy and deliciously cheesy casserole!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Dry Ziti Pasta
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 3 whole Large Leeks, Sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 jar (28 Oz. Size) Alfredo Sauce
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 pound Cottage Cheese
  • 2 cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese, divided
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese, Divided

Preparation

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8–10 minutes. Drain, set aside.

In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Add leeks, salt and pepper, about 15 minutes. Drain off fat.

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a medium bowl, combine the alfredo sauce, milk, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, and half the mozzarella cheese. Stir to combine.

In a greased 2-quart casserole dish, place pasta, ground beef mixture and sauce mixture, stir with a spoon to combine well. Top with remaining mozzerella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered for 40 minutes. Enjoy!

Made this for dinner Saturday and the fam loved it! I did make a couple of changes – I used a little over a lb of chicken instead of beef, and green onion instead of leeks (don’t have those in my local grocery store). BIG fan of this recipe – yummy!

I made this for my family last week and we really liked it. My husband and I ate the leftovers for 3 days.
