We loved this recipe! I lightened it considerably by using ground turkey, light sour cream, and skim milk. I also seasoned the meat with a clove of fresh, chopped garlic and season salt (no onion). I used about 1/2 a stick of butter when whipping the potatoes with a mixer and added milk, sour cream, salt/pepper to taste. I added a jar of sliced mushrooms to green beans. Next time, my husband would like more meat and veggies. He requested corn and peas, maybe some cooked carrot chopped small. He likes it without cheese but I like it with cheese. We both agreed that it’s good either way. It’s a definite keeper – thank you!

So good and very simple. I only did half an onion … and spiced the beef up a little. Thanks for sharing!

Delicious! I used corn rather than green beans! Major yum, the kids ate it UP!! Thank you!
