I base this on my favorite dish at The Keg restaurant. So easy to make. You know it is if *I* make it!
SAUCE:
– Melt butter in a large pan
– Add mushrooms and saute
– Add balsamic vinegar and continue to simmer
– Add garlic powder
– Add flour to thicken sauce
– Simmer till mushrooms are soft enough to your taste, and add balsamic vinegar and flour as needed till sauce is at your thickness preference
TUNA:
– Heat another pan
– Roll tuna steak in sesame mixture (I usually purchase this mixture at Whole Foods) – so the seeds are nice and attached to the *edges* of the steak
– Sear the tuna in the pan (30 seconds per side)
SERVE:
Place mound of chips on plate, add slices of tuna steak, slather mushroom sauce on top
