Description

Easy peasy blueberry dessert – perfect for quick fixing or bringing to a party.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 bag Frozen Blueberries (12 Oz)
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 can Buttermilk Biscuits (12oz)
  • ½ cups Melted Butter

Preparation

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

– Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.

– In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

– Combine blueberries and sugar in a bowl and toss to coat.

– Spoon blueberry-sugar mixture into baking dish.

– Separate biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.

– Dip each biscuit piece into the butter, then roll in the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture to coat well.

– Arrange biscuits in a single layer on top of blueberry mixture.

– Bake for 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and center is done.

– Cool for 10 minutes, serve warm if possible.

This was so good and so easy. I skipped the butter and just tossed the biscuits with the sugar in a ziplock bag. I also used a mix of fresh Blueberries, blackberries and raspberries added a touch of flour th thicken as it baked.
