Description

Easy oven-broiled Sesame-Glazed Salmon with a sweet and spicy Asian glaze that will make you drool! Takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (5 To 6 Oz. Size) Salmon Fillets, Skin On Or Off
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • ½ cups Apple Cider
  • ¼ cups Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil

Preparation

Turn oven on broil at 500ºF.

Whisk all ingredients for the glaze (everything except salmon). Lay salmon flat in a deep dish then pour in 1/3 of glaze mixture. Using tongs, gently flip salmon several times in mixture, then let sit for 10 minutes (skin up if your salmon has skin).

Meanwhile, simmer remaining sauce in a small saucepan on low until thick, about 10 minutes.

Transfer salmon to a baking sheet (skin down) and broil in the oven for 8–10 minutes depending how thick fillets are. Once salmon is finished cooking, spoon simmered sauce on top and serve.

Note: I enjoy this meal with rice and asparagus. For the asparagus, I tossed it with olive oil, salt, and pepper and cooked with the salmon (same temperature and time). For the rice, I cooked it according to the directions on the package with the addition of 1 tablespoon butter, juice from 1 lime, and salt and pepper to taste.
