Description

This is a perfect dinner option. It only takes 20 minutes to make.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SHRIMP:
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • ½  Red Onion, Chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 pound Peeled And Deveined White Shrimp
  • Kosher Salt And Freshly Ground Pepper
  • ½  Lemon, Juiced
  • ¼ cups Chopped Parsley
  • FOR THE PEA PUREE:
  • 3-½ cups Frozen Shelled Peas
  • ⅓ cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Thyme
  • Kosher Salt And Freshly Ground Pepper

Preparation

For the shrimp:
Melt butter on a skillet at low-medium heat. Add onion, garlic and bay leaf until fragrant, about 2–3 minutes. Add red pepper flakes.

Add shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4 minutes. Add lemon juice and finish with parsley. Serve with pea puree.

For the pea puree:
Boil peas for about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat heavy cream on a small pot. Add butter, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

Add peas and heavy cream mixture into a blender container and blend.
