Try this recipe for smoked burnt ends using chuck roast.
Spread BBQ rub all around the chuck roast.
Heat up smoker to 225°F. Place chuck roast in the smoker and smoke until meat temperature reaches 185°F. Pull out meat out of the smoker and rest for 30 minutes.
Slice meat into cubes. Place cubed meat in a foil pan and lightly coat with BBQ sauce and rub. Put back meat in the smoker for 1 hour at 250°F.
