A flavorful, filling alternative to a traditional hamburger.
Combine ingredients, using between 1/2 to 1 cup of panko or bread crumbs until you have a firm but moist patty. Place turkey burgers between waxed paper sheets and place in the freezer for 15-20 minutes if you’re in a hurry, or up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
Coat patty surface with a thin layer of olive oil to prevent sticking. Grill or pan fry burgers.
I serve these on a burger roll and set out toppings such as lettuce, pickles, ketchup, etc.
