Hearty, yes. Edible, yes. But all of (male and female alike) thought it was fairly dull (meat, meat, meat, meat, meat, and some more meat, plus a bit o’ cheese flavor).

The only way the hubbs will eat pasta with red sauce, is if there is plenty of meat in it. This recipe delivers! Thanks, Ree:)

I never ever buy spaghetti sauce anymore since stumbling upon this recipe. I always have the ingredients on hand and it is a simple “go-to” recipe when the day has gotten away from me and I suddenly realize I have not given one thought to dinner – until it’s actually DINNERTIME!
Love this recipe. Thanks Ree.

I was leery of the thyme, but WOW! Really pulled the flavors together. The hubs really loved it and it was such a nice change from regular saucy pastas. Leftovers were good as well!

My husband, too, LOVED this dish. I think it is very good, but I prefer the saucier pasta dishes. It’s been added to our dinner rotation, though!

Definitely a man-pleasin’ dish. I was afraid my husband wouldn’t care for it because it is different than the spaghetti we always eat, but he said he liked it better because he doesn’t like all that tomato sauce. I should’ve known! Made it with Ree’s Garlic Cheese Bread (another hit with the family). I was a hero!

Like some other folks, I liked this, but my other half LOVED it! I did add some extra tomatoes & garlic, but only because I ended up using more ground beef than the recipe called for originally.

Like another commenter, this is good. I liked, but my husband LOVED IT! He went back for more and more!

Pretty tasty and a nice change from regular spaghetti.
