Description

No bland turkey here! It’s best if the sauce refrigerates for at least an hour so plan ahead!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BURGERS:
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1-¼ pound Ground Turkey
  • ½ cans (15 Oz. Size) Black Beans, Drained, Rinsed And Slightly Mashed (You An Use The Whole Can If You Like)
  • 1 cup Crushed Tortilla Chips, Any Kind
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 6 whole Hamburger Buns
  • 6 leaves Lettuce
  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • 2 whole Ripe Avocados
  • 1 cup Ranch Dressing
  • ½ cups Milk
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • ¼ cups Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 teaspoons Hot Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder

Preparation

For the avocado ranch sauce:

Cut avocados in half, remove pit and scoop pulp out of the peel into a food processor or blender.

Add 1 cup ranch dressing and remaining ingredients into the food processor. Process until avocado mixture is smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of the bowl a couple of times. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or up to 3 days.

For the burgers:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, combine the turkey, beans, tortilla chips, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Use your hands to form the mixture into 6 equal sized patties.

Put the patties into the skillet and cook until no longer pink in the middle, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Serve on buns with avocado ranch sauce and some lettuce.

These burgers are great! My beef loving boys even gave them rave reviews! I didn’t have any avacados so I made a salsa ranch sauce. Next time I will definitly try the avacado dressing! It looks wonderful! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!
