Grilled cheese with chopped fresh dates, lots of bacon and a cream cheese/Gorgonzola spread.
First, combine the cream cheese and Gorgonzola. Make sure you mash it well to incorporate the crumbly Gorgonzola with the cream cheese to make a good mix.
Spread the cheese on both sides of the bread slices. Add the bacon, then date slices, and top with the other half of the bun.
Add butter to a saute pan over medium-high heat until melted. Grill sandwiches in the pan, carefully turning halfway until golden brown on both sides.
